Another great year for Pat as he ended up the Club’s top try scorer with 21 touchdowns and 145 goals in all competitions. He was also Super League’s top point’s scorer for 2008. Was a consistent performer throughout both in attack and defence and his goal kicking was again exceptional. Won the Player of the Year Award at the Club’s end of season dinner and also represented Ireland in the 2008 World Cup.

Agreed a new contract last season which will keep him a Warrior until 2011.

Pat originally joined Wigan Warriors on a three-year contract in 2006 after helping West Tigers win the 2005 NRL Grand Final. Scored a sensational try in the game to help Wests overcome North Queensland Cowboys 30-16. Pat has also played previous to that for Parramatta Eels.

Has the versatility to play wing, centre or full back and has played in all these positions during his time with the Club
