Wigan Warriors Community Foundation are excited to unveil this summer's camp locations and dates which will see the Foundation travel to venues across England and Wales during the schools 6 week summer holidays.

Community Foundation Manager Amanda Wilkinson said:

"I'm really looking forward to the busy summer coaching schedule the community will be delivering over the next six weeks. It's a great feeling to pass on the Warriors rugby league knowledge and see the enjoyment on the kids faces as they learn to play the Wigan way".

"The camps look to engage young people and provide a friendly and highly enjoyable environment to learn the greatest game from the greatest team of all time!"

Don't miss the chance to take part in the final player camp of the summer and learn new kicking skills with Pat Richards and Matty Smith.

31 August - Pat Richards and Matty Smith Player Camp (10-3pm - £20)

Click on the links on the side menu for more information about the camps.

Places on these Wigan Warriors Community Foundation camps are available from the DW Stadium ticket office or via the ticket hotline on 0871 66 33 552 (calls cost 10p from a BT landline, other operators may vary.) Places are expected to fill up quickly, so book now to avoid disappointment.

The camps will be staffed by the Wigan Warriors Community Foundation coaches. All coaching staff hold a minimum of a UKCC Level 2 coaching award, a first aid certificate and an enhanced CRB clearance certificate. In addition to coaching staff, the Warriors also employ child welfare officers at their coaching camps, to ensure children are suitably cared for.

The Club have designed a programme to suit parents and players alike - mirroring the school day to help with travel arrangements - and developing a fun and innovative programme to ensure that players of all abilities are challenged and have fun.
