Wigan recorded a famous 28-10 win over Saints at Langtree Park on Good Friday afternoon and speaking post match Head Coach Shaun Wane was delighted with the performance and win,
"That feels absolutely unbelievable, I am really pleased, and what makes it all the more special, instead of coming here with a full strength team, the team we had was a little busted, there were players on the park that shouldn't have played in a normal situation and to come away with that performance was outstanding, I can't tell you how happy I am.
"I wouldn't like to single anyone out, overall as a team I thought we were great, nobody will know what we have been through this week because of illnessess and injuries, to show the character we did ina pressure game against a fantastic Saints team it was great credit to the lads and the staff."
Wigan had other chances for scores denied, Jack Hughes by the video referee then what looked a certain penalty try when Darrell Goulding was pulled back, on that Shaun added,
"I don't want to be negative but for me that was a penalty try, I dont know what constitutes a penalty try if that didn't, that disappointed me.
"Overall I am delighted, I am the happiest man in the North West tonight."
