The Wigan Warriors Community Foundation are delighted to announce plans for a special day of coaching camps involving Warrior's Stars Sam and Logan Tomkins.

The Wigan stars, along with the Community Foundation Coaches will be running two camps on Monday 23rd July, at St Pats ARLFC. The morning camp will take place between 9am-12pm, with the afternoon camp from 1pm-4pm. Both camps are available for children aged 4 to 14 years.

Speaking about the event, Fullback Sam Tomkins said,

"Logan and I are looking forward to going back to St Pats with the Warriors Foundation team to meet our young fans and future stars. We hope we can pass on some of the skills and knowledge that has helped us get to where we are today, and assist the children with developing their game."

Community Development officer Amanda Wilkinson added,

"This will be a great experience for players of all ages and ability as the children will be split into the relevant age groups and given the opportunity to question and experience the techniques and skills shown by the two players in a fun and enjoyable environment."

Places on the camp will cost £20 per child per camp (morning or afternoon) and the children will get the opportunity to be coached the ‘Wigan Way' by Sam and Logan Tomkins. Both players will be revealing their secrets, skills and techniques they use in their attacking and defensive game, with Sam leading on his sublime attacking qualities and Logan on his precise passing.

Places on these very special Wigan Warriors Community Foundation camps are available from the DW Stadium ticket office or via the ticket hotline on 0871 66 33 552 (calls cost 10p from a BT landline, other operators may vary.) Places are expected to fill up quickly, so book now to avoid disappointment.
