Over 2800 loyal Warriors fans turned out on Saturday afternoon for the Sean O'Loughlin and Wigan Warriors annual Fan Day.

Taking place at the picturesque Wigan Rugby Union Club, fans of all ages were treated to entertainment all afternoon with the rain showers unable to put a dampner on proceedings.

The event kicked off with the whole First Team squad meeting fans before the Warriors U20's defeated their Bradford counterparts 60-6. The Berkeley Warrior Girls, mascot Max and Community Foundation coaches kept the entertainment lively, before Wigan and St Helens legends (pictured below) locked horns with Saints running out 30-24 winners in the most amusing derby for years.

Hundreds of fans stayed back to party the night away as top local band Boomin' performed.

Speaking to the crowd, Sean said:

"I am delighted that so many people managed to come out this afternoon and I would like to thank everyone for attending.  I would like to pay special thanks to all those people who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make today possible and I hope everyone has had a great time."

A full photo gallery of the event will be published on WiganWarriors.com later in the week.
