Wigan are now preparing for Monday night action at the DW Stadium and the visit of the Salford City Reds, 8pm kick off.
The Warriors are looking to get back on track following the defeat last time out against the Warrington Wolves, a disappointing performance and one Head Coach Shaun Wane is looking much improvement on, beginning on Monday.
"I am still really disappointed, they played well, we didn't, we made too many errors, we played dumb and you can't go to a place like Warrington like that and win, we must now look forward to the next game. There was not one positive from that game for me."
On the Reds, Shaun added,
"Salford can play, they are a quality team. Phil (Veivers) Coaches them well, they throw the ball around and they do have some threats in the team. If you watch any Salford games they test you defensively and they troubled both London and Huddersfield recently. On the other side of the coin they can have some lapses defensively and that's an area we need to exploit."
Going into the weekend (ahead of Friday as Warrington travel to London) the Wolves are now just one point behind with three games apiece remaining but despite this Shaun remains confident the Warriors can do what they need to finish top of the table,
"We don't feel under pressure, I know 100% if we play to our potential in the remaining three games and we play as we train we are capable of winning our remaining fixtures."
On Matty Smith who comes up on Monday against his former Club, he said,
"Matty Smith is looking forward to the game, he had a great time there. He has alot of good things to say about the Salford Club but he is now a Wigan player and ready with the rest of the team to do all he can to help us win the game."
