Are you the next Taylor Swift? Have you got the moves like Jagger? Can you dance like Diversity? Is your group the new Kaiser Chiefs?

Children & Adults are invited to take part in "The Max Factor" which will give people from across the borough the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience.

We are looking for a range of acts to take part and showcase their skills. The winner of each category will have a unique opportunity to perform at the DW Stadium at the Wigan Warriors Super League match against St.Helens on 27th June 2014.

Daniel Dowd, Tenant Participation Officer said "The Talent Show will give people the opportunity to perform in a supportive environment and gives young people and adults the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience, improving confidence and inspiring others".

All entrants under 18 years will also be able to practice their act at Wigan Youth Zone with help from staff who will be on hand to pass on tips and advice ahead of the auditions.

Amanda Wilkinson at Wigan Warriors said ‘ We are really excited to be working with local partners and having the opportunity to host this special event which will bring the local community together to celebrate local talent'.

Key Dates:

These events will take place at Central Park, Montrose Avenue, Wigan WN5 9XL beginning 5th May, Semi Finals week beginning 12th May and the Grand Final will take place on Friday 23rd May.

This event has been organised by many local partners including Wigan & Leigh Housing, Golden Mile Group, Westfield Children's Centre, Pro-Co, WLCT Play Section, Wigan Youth Zone and Wigan Warriors Community Foundation.
