// 9. Michael McIlorum

Injury Status: Fully Fit +

Hooker

Michael is a truly fearless hooker who has been a crucial aspect of the Warriors side for many years.

Despite facing a two month injury lay-off in mid-season, McIlorum made 20 appearances in 2014, scoring on two occasions.

He also sustained a fractured eye socket in the courageous semi-final win over Warrington meaning he missed out on the Grand Final and subsequent Four Nations tour. Inevitably this was a damning blow for both Club and country.

He is one of the game's best dummy halves who consistently demonstrates his exceptional skills from the play the ball.

His great running game and sharp vision is combined with an excellent passing ability, making him a major attacking threat.

McIlorum is also an accomplished defender who is regularly at the top of the tackling charts.

Originally from Leeds, he joined the Warriors in 2005 after impressing then Head of Youth Dean Bell before quickly progressing through the Academy.

His First-Team debut came under Brian Noble in 2007 and he has gone on to make 182 appearances, becoming a world-class talent in the process.

He has played a pivotal role in the Club's recent success, scoring a vital try in the 2013 Grand Final.

Held in high regard by his coaching staff and teammates alike, he signed an improved four year contract in 2014.

His success has been recognised on the international stage with Ireland at the 2008 World Cup and then with England in the 2013 World Cup.
