Wigan Warriors got their season back on track after the disappointment of the Cup defeat with a convincing 36-16 win over the Warrington Wolves at the DW Stadium on Friday night.

Wigan responded mid way through the half , Phelps with a great cut out pass into the path of Pat Richards who was able to turn and twist his way over in the corner. Richards missed the extras, 4-4.

The home side were beginning to tear the Wolves apart and within two minutes Richards broke away down the left and with an inside pass sent George Carmont in for a try, Wigan’s sixth and Richards goal made it 32-4.
Soon after Warrington were denied a try by the video referee for a push on Roberts.
The visitors had no answer as Wigan continued their dominance, Flanagan with a great off load to allow Carmont to grab his 2nd try of the night. The goal was missed 36-6.
