The Berkeley Extend Warrior Girls Partnership

The Berkeley, in Wigan Town Centre, have extended their sponsorship of the Warrior Girls for a third season.

During the partnership the cheerleading outfit have performed at over 100 events including the Challenge Cup homecoming in 2011, the 2011 World Club Challenge, the 2012 League Leaders shield presentation, two Christmas light switch-ons and countless games.

The pubs general manager Cliffe Beech said,

"I'm delighted that we have been able to extend our sponsorship with the Warrior Girls for a third season, and I'm looking forward to seeing some new faces in the squad for 2013"

You can be part of the 2013 squad by attending open auditions which will be held on Monday 3rd December, at the DW Stadium. Registration opens from 6pm with attendees asked to report to the Main Reception in the Springfield (West) Stand. The auditions will begin at 6.30pm and last for around 2 hours.

Applicants must be 16 or over as of 1st February 2013. On the day girls must be well presented and dance-wear is recommended. A registration form must be completed and a photograph will be taken on arrival.

Applicants will be required to learn a dance and will then be judged in small groups against set criteria such as quality of performance and how quickly the performer learned the dance. Performers will also be asked to develop their own short routine and to perform this as part of the auditions.

Girls can simply turn up on the night but to pre-register your interest please [click here] and enter your full name and details.
