Friday night at the City of Salford Stadium will see Warriors Skipper Sean O'Loughlin make his 300th appearance for the Wigan First Team.
Sean who celebrated 10 years with the Club in 2012 has made 276 starts and 23 appearances off the bench scoring 72 tries in the process.
Speaking at the Pre-season Launch at the Etihad Stadium on Monday, Sean told us,
"I think the boys in the squad are really happy with how pre-season has gone, from an outside point of view some people have been talking about the players we have lost but Matty and Blake have looked really good in training and in the friendlies and I think the big thing for us is some of the young boys who will step up and fill some of those roles. Lads like Faz will become more established and become a senior player and there is some real quality in our ranks.
"Some of our young boys like Sam Powell got a taste of it last year and did really well as did Iain Thornley and they will be looking for their chance this year to kick on. People questioned the squad a couple of years ago and we went on to win the Grand Final and it's all about who play well together.
"We want to be competing week in week out for top spot and be involved in Finals."
Asked who the threats would be in Super League, Lockers added,
"I think it will be the usual suspects St Helens look strong, Leeds and I think in the friendlies Bradford have gone well .Hull have a couple of new players including Gareth Ellis so they could go well."
