The Wigan Warriors Community Foundation are delighted to announce that first team stars Michael Mcllorum, Sam Powell and George Williams will all attend the second in their Summer Player Camp series.
The foundation coaches and the first team stars will be on hand for the seconf Player Camp of the Summer, taking place on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th of August. They will be able to pass on their expertise in playing from dummy half, tackling, passing and kicking, along with their tips on how the young stars of the future can improve their vision and creativity with the ball in hand.
All attending the camp will get the opportunity to be coached by the first team trio as they pass on their knowledge of skills and techniques, while the players will also take part in a Q and A with the group and each child will get to meet the players, have a photo and collect autographs.
The players are looking forward to the Camp. Sam Powell commented:
"I'm really looking forward to getting involved and seeing all the young Warriors fans at the Summer Camp.
No doubt there will be potential Wigan stars of the future present, so me and the lads will be more than happy to pass on our knowledge and expertise. It should be a great couple of days."
The Camp will take place on Tuesday the 12th and Wednesday the 13th of August from 9am-3pm on both days at Central Park on Montrose Avenue (WN4 9JX). All young people aged 4-14 years are welcome at a cost of just £35.
