Wigan Warriors have today received the latest delivery of over 2000 home shirts from Erreà and these are now on sale from Warriors World.
The popular 2015 shirt was in high demand before Christmas with record sales recorded ahead of the festive period and orders placed before Christmas have now been processed and dispatched.
However, unfortunately the latest delivery does not contain any ladies cut shirts. In a letter to the club, Michael Craddock, Rugby Export Manager for Erreà explained:
"As you know, we produce the Wigan Warriors replica shirts in our own European factory. Even so, we are reliant on suppliers to provide us with the raw materials to manufacture and, unfortunately, the sublimation papers for the Ladies Cut Replica Shirts that we received were found to be faulty, which has resulted in a delay with the manufacturing process.
"We appreciate your frustration and assure you that it is shared by everyone here at Erreà. We are working with our supplier to resolve this situation as quickly as we possibly can and hope to re-start production of these shirts very soon.
"I would like to offer our apologies for this unforeseen delay, to thank you for your continued patience and, once again, assure you that we are working to resolve this as quickly as possible."
The Club would like to add its apologies for any inconvenience this delay has caused and continue to work closely with Erreà to source an advanced shipment of ladies shirts as soon as possible.
