- Wigan Warriors name squad for semi final with Huddersfield Giants
- Wigan stick with same squad from last week’s win over Castleford Tigers
- Place at 2015 First Utility Super League Grand Final at stake
Wigan Warriors have today named their squad for this Thursday’s Super League Semi Final.
Wigan host Huddersfield Giants with a place in the 2015 First Utility Super League Grand Final at stake.
The Warriors have stuck with the same 19-man squad from last week’s win over Castleford.
Speaking ahead of the game, Wigan Warriors Head Coach said he would wait until Wednesday afternoon before deciding on the team line-up.
“There’s a couple of players we need to look at,” said Wane. “Just like any team at this time of year we’ve got a couple of bumps and bruises but the players and staff will be doing all we can to make sure our strongest possible team is out there on Thursday night.”
Wane admitted he is eagerly awaiting another classic night at the DW.
“It’s got the makings of a great game, Huddersfield have been one of the most consistent teams this year and will be very motivated coming into this game. They’re a very well coach side with some very talented players.
“I’m really hoping the Wigan fans will turn out in force and make it a great atmosphere. I hear Huddersfield have put on free coaches for their fans so they’re going to travel well, the support from our fans this year has been great and we need one last big push this week.”
