- World Club Challenge Tickets in high demand
- Wigan fans have been urged to act fast to secure the best seats
- Over 17,500 tickets have been sold to date
With 11 days to go until the 2017 Dacia World Club Challenge Wigan fans have been urged to act fast to secure the best seats in the house for what promises to be a momentous afternoon at the DW Stadium.
Wigan take on NRL premiers Cronulla Sharks on Sunday 19th February, 3pm, to decide the best Club side in the world.
To date over 17,500 tickets have been sold with sales increasing each day as the match edges ever closer.
Nearly 20,000 people watched Wigan take on Brisbane Broncos last year with sales well ahead of that game already. Availability remains in all four stands with good seats still available at this stage.
Warriors Marketing Director, Simon Collinson, said: “It’s great to see fans so eager to watch this huge game and we’re on course for a huge crowd.
“With the North Stand full of Wigan fans we’ll have all four corners of the DW Stadium right behind the team as they look to create history.
“We’re also expecting close to 500 Cronulla fans to be in attendance, many of whom will have travelled over from Australia. This game means a lot to this Club and the fans and it should be a great spectacle.”
