Four Wigan players set to feature in opening round of games at Rugby League World Cup
Sean O’Loughlin, John Bateman, Tommy Leuluai and Michael Mcilorum all named in respective squads

Four Wigan players look set to feature in the opening round of games at the Rugby League World Cup.
The 2017 event will get underway this weekend and all 14 sides have today named their squads for the opening games.
The 21-man squads have been named in numerical order however it remains to be seen how many teams stick with the line-ups as they are.
England take on Australia in the opening game and Sean O’Loughlin will skipper the side with John Bateman also included in the squad at number four.
Co-hosts New Zealand face Samoa in Auckland on Saturday with Tommy Leuluai named at number nine for the Kiwis.
Michael Mcilorum is named in the Ireland squad and looks set to start at hooker in a strong looking Wolfhounds pack. Ireland take on Italy in Cairns on Sunday.
Jack Higginson (Ireland) and Romain Navarrete (France) have also been included in the respective 21-man squads.
The Rugby League World Cup begins on Friday with live coverage of England’s showdown with Australia on BBC Two, 10:00am BST kick-off.
