Wigan Hull Classic

The Challenge Cup Final of 2013 was an opportunity for Wigan to win their first piece of silverware in what would become a double winning season. It was an opportunity also to extend their Challenge Cup tally to 19 in total.

Hull had last lifted the trophy when they beat Leeds at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium in 2005,while Wigan won the trophy more recently in 2011, also beating Leeds, under Michael Maguire.
