It’s now just 50 days to go until the international double header at ANZ Stadium.

The Warriors will face South Sydney Rabbitohs and Hull FC take on St George Illawarra Dragons in an historic International Double Header at ANZ Stadium, Sydney on Saturday 17 February.

The Warriors will create history in 2018 when they become the first Super League team to host a game outside of Europe when they take on Hull FC at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday 10 February.

Whilst in Australia for the Rugby League World Cup, Warriors and England Skipper, Sean O’Loughlin spoke about the double header. He said: “We’ve something similar in the UK with Magic Weekend but it will be great for two Super League teams to go up against two NRL teams on the same day at the same stadium.”

On facing the Rabbitohs, O’Louglin said: “We played against the Roosters a few years ago and trained with Souths then and had a bit of an opposed sessions against them. The teams have changed a bit since then but there’s still a few of the same faces in there like the Burgess boys and Greg Inglis.

“There’s some players in there that we know about and I’m really looking forward to it, it’s going to be a great occasion.”
