Warriors Are Back in Black

As the new engage Super League XII campaign gets closer, Wigan Warriors have unveiled their new black away playing kit which will be worn for the first time at Salford tomorrow (Wednesday) evening.

The new 2007 playing kit has been manufactured by JJB, the club’s Technical Sponsor. The shirt is a predominantly black design with red slashes on the shoulders, waist and lower back and is completed with an embroidered crest. This will be worn with black shorts and black socks.

Away_Kit_Animation_200.gif The strip will be officially launched on Tuesday 13th February at the JJB store on Robin Park in Wigan from 6pm, with first team players on hand to celebrate as the shirt goes on sale. The kit will go on general sale on Wednesday 14th February from Warriors World in Wigan Town Centre as well as over 20 other JJB Stores.

Wigan Warriors Commercial Director Geoff Warburton said:

“The black away kit that was worn in 2004 was a big hit with our fans, and with record sales of the new home kit I’m sure this will follow suit.”

The shirts will retail at £29.99 for junior sizes and £39.99 for adult sizes.
