WTV: Coach Looks Ahead To Harlequins

Wigan Warriors head to the capital this weekend, as they face Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday, 3pm kick off.

The game is the first ot two meetings in 6 days with the Cup clash at the JJB Stadium the following Friday. This week though, the Warriors are concentrating on the engage Super League and looking for vital league points in London.

Speaking ahead of the clash Head Coach Brian Noble told us,

"Harlequins will be keen to turnaround what happened to them last week ( lost 44-18 at Bradford), so they will be looking for an improvement in performance. They have a couple of pivotal people back in their squad. It has been a while since they have been at home. Our focus is ourselves. We are getting better week by week and it's important we add that element of consistency to all our games now.

"We understand the tough nature of the travel and the quality of the Harlequins team. We aren't looking at all at the cup game, it's all about this week."

On the injury situation, Brian added,

"We are still a little unsure about Michael Withers but that's about all, we will make a decision on Friday."

Wigan will confirm their final 18 after a further training session on Friday but the good news is that Thomas Leuluai is free to play against his former side after having no case to answer at an RFL Disciplinary hearing on Wednesday.
