Camarillas Showcase at the JJB

Wigan Warriors are set to take on the Bradford Bulls this weekend for what is sure to be an explosive encounter, but before they do The Camarillas will be helping set the tone by entertaining the crowds approaching the JJB Stadium.

This is the second Showcase of the year and is their first appearance for the Camarillas performing on the Wigan Warriors Showcase Stage.

The Camarillas are an original 4 piece indie/rock band, who only played their first gig together at the Cavern in Wigan back in January; a gig that was well received and resulted in another booking there in a couple of weeks time (13th March).

They are currently recording a 4 track demo at The Fuzzbox Studios in Wigan and will soon be adding that for you to listen to on their official myspace site.

Hannah Slater, lead vocalist with the group said "We are so grateful to be given this opportunity to play to such a varied crowd of people". "We are all so excited and hope it goes well. I believe we will be near a burger van too which is always a bonus!".

Tickets to their next gig can be purchased at the front of the truck for the small price of £4 or alternatively you can pay on the door at the Cavern on the night.

You can catch them playing on the Stage outside the stadium in the North East corner (facing the JJB Soccer Dome) around an hour before kick off which is at 6pm.
