Noble Pleased with Victory

Warriors coach Brian Noble was pleased with the victory at Harlequins on Saturday night but is still looking for improvement.

"We werent helping ourselves in the first half but our start to the second half gave us a real good chance and we finished the game strong.

"There was pressure on the players and I'm delighted for them because some of the things that have been said about them is unfair".

The Warriors saw young winger grab a brace of tries while half back Sam Tomkins lead from the front on his Super League debut.

"Young Shaun has still got parts of his game to work on, but he played well last week and kept his place, while Sam Tomkins showed that he's going to be a very good player. The onus was on them to play and both of them have.

We're still not playing how we would like but there was a lot of pressure and anxiety in relation to our performance tonight and the way we play will have to improve against Bradford next week".
