Wigan Warriors have today unveiled their new 2013 Alternate Kit which will see the Club wearing purple for the first time ever.
In contrast to the very traditional 2013 Home Shirt design the Away Shirt welcomes a varied colour palate for the Warriors, mixing purple with navy, a colour that has always proved popular amongst supporters.
The shirt features a thin purple and navy hooped design that will be accompanied by navy shorts and purple socks with a navy turnover.
Fans queued up to be the first to get their hands on the new shirt when it went on sale at Warriors World in the Grand Arcade at 12noon today.
The shirt is designed and produced by Australian kit manufactures ISC and will again display the logo of Main Club Sponsor Applicado across the chest. Partners Magners Irish Cider and Ainscough Crane Hire will be proudly displayed on the sleeves whilst Caliper Engineering, JK Guest and Numech will feature on the back of the shirt.
Commenting, Wigan Warriors Captain Sean O'Loughlin said,
"I'm really impressed with the new kit. The design is really strong while the new colours offer a bit of a break from tradition. I can't wait to pull the new strip on away at Salford in the first game of the new season."
The new shirt is now available to purchase from Warriors World in the Grand Arcade, through the official online store by [Clicking Here] and on the Merchandise Hotline by phoning 01942 239655.
Adult home shirts remain priced at £47, juniors at £35 and toddlers at £28
