Wigan Warriors in conjunction with Leigh Centurions are delighted to announce an exciting new performance programme especially targeting Current Year 9's who are Current Under 14's players within the North West.
The Club have set up a weekly camp starting on the 19th June for ten consecutive Wednesday evenings throughout June, July and August and provides an opportunity for young players to showcase their Rugby League talent in front of the Club's Coaching Staff as well as the aim of developing their core skills.
The programme will take place at the Club's Central Park facility on Montrose Avenue in the town between 5pm and 7pm and will cost just £20 to take part which will also cover the cost of an included ISC Kit Package.
Warriors Captain Sean O'Loughlin will be on hand with some of the Club's Junior Coaches to take the sessions with Sean acting as an Ambassador for the programme which the Club are keen to develop further for other age groups in the next year or so.
Speaking about the Future's Programme, Warriors Under 19's assistant Coach Matty Peet said;
"We are thrilled to announce the Future Programme for Under 14's and it provides a great opportunity over ten weeks for players to improve their skill development on an intensive weekly programme. The players will benefit hugely from the sessions with the opportunity for those involved to showcase their talent in front of the Coaching Staff of both Leigh and Wigan. It is a great for the Year 9's and who knows some of those attending could develop further and come a part of our Scholarship programme."
