Wigan Warriors Under 19's Coach Matty Peet felt his side's defeat to St Helens Under 19's would do his side "some good".
Speaking after the game Matty said, "We know where we are at. They ran harder and hit harder than us today so credit to them really.
"We made some mistakes because we didn't stick to what we wanted to do, particularly in the second half. In the first half our completion was quite high but it wasn't in the second.
"Our last plays and kick chase were poor, and we were allowing them to get good starts to their sets so we got what we deserved. It'll do us some good that game."
On recalling Full Back Lewis Tierney, from Workington Town, Matty said, "Gabriel Fell broke his thumb in training and we had no one left."
Fell is expected to be out of action for six weeks however, Matty hopes to bring Brad Lawrence and Jack Higginson back within the next few weeks which should hopefully "freshen things up".
