Loan and Dual-Registration Round-Up

Seven Wigan Warriors players represented other clubs this weekend on-loan and dual registration.

Two tries from Sam Powell and another from Connor Farrell were not enough for Workington as the Cumbrians went down 38-16 to a resurgent Bradford outfit. Jamie Doran also played at stand-off throughout the game.

In Championship One, Rob Lever started at loose-forward as Swinton suffered their first home defeat of the season against Oldham. The Lancashire neighbours sealed a 32-26 win to keep the pressure on Keighley at the top of the table.

In Super League, Jack Hughes crossed the whitewash to help 12-man Huddersfield record an impressive 30-22 win over Widnes. The Giants had Brett Ferres sent-off in just the 11th minute for punching but were still able to come out on top.

James Greenwood came off the bench to help Hull KR beat Warrington 36-10 at the KC Lightstream Stadium on Friday evening. The win sees Rovers move level on points with city rivals Hull FC, the Robins now just outside the Super 8’s on points difference.

Finally, Logan Tomkins faced his former Wigan teammates at the DW on Friday night as the Red Devils went down 19-12. The defeat means Salford sit three points outside the Super 8’s with just five games of the regular season remaining.
