- Coaches, strength and conditioners, physiotherapists, a team manager and kit assistant all required
Wigan Warriors Women’s Team are on the lookout for people to get involved and help out behind the scenes as they prepare for their debut season.
Last week the Warriors announced that they would be running a Women’s team in 2018. The recruitment drive is now well and truly underway with Coach Amanda Wilkinson hoping to bring together a strong team on and off the pitch.
As well as players, Amanda is also on the search for a backroom team with a variety of people including coaches, strength and conditioners, physiotherapists, a team manager and kit assistant all required.
Amanda, said: “It’s been really encouraging to read all of the positive comments and feedback since we launched the team. The buzz that has been created is great and it makes me even more excited for the season to start next year.
“Before then we’ve got a tremendous amount of work to get through and that includes bringing together a good backroom team.
“We’re looking for any enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches who are looking to take their coaching onto the next level. People with a passion for strength and conditioning are welcome to get involved and it’s also a great opportunity for any physiotherapists who are looking to add to their experience.
“Anyone interested is welcome to get in touch with myself and I’ll be more than happy to have a chat and discuss each role further.”
If you think you have what it takes to get involved and are interested in any of these positions please contact Amanda Wilkinson email@example.com.
