Last season St Helens narrowly missed out on the Grand Final as they lost in extra time to Castleford.

They’ve started 2018 well though and like Wigan, have only lost one game so far. Last time out they eased past Hull KR with a 30-6 win at KCOM Craven Park.

The Warriors took the Good Friday derby win last season as the ran out 29-18 winners.

Honours were even in the other two games, both at St Helens, with Saints taking the regular season win and Wigan tasting victory in the Super 8s.

Luke Thompson has started the year well and is top metre-maker for the side having made 946 metres so far.

Ben Barba is the top try scorer in Super League so far with 8.

James Roby has made the highest amount of tackles for St Helens with 334 so far.

Justin Holbrook has been Head Coach since May 2017 and has had a big impact on the side.
