The DW Stadium South Stand has SOLD OUT for Friday’s Good Friday derby clash between Wigan Warriors and St Helens at the DW Stadium, kick-off 3pm.
Over 21,000 tickets have now been sold for Friday’s mouth-watering derby clash, as fans from both sets of teams set to flock to the DW Stadium for the latest installment of the Betfred Super League’s fiercest rivalry.
The DW Stadium Ticket office will be open from 11am on Good Friday for ticket collections and purchases.
DW Stadium Ticket Office Manager, Michael Jolliffe: “There’s limited availability in the East and West stands, with fans urged to pre-purchase theirs today to avoid disappointment. For those who will be collecting tickets on the day, we would advise that you set off early to leave plenty of time to collect yours from the ticket office, as we’re expecting Friday to be extremely busy.
“There will be a limited number of tickets available to purchase on the day at a cash turnstile on the East Stand, but we reiterate, that our advice is to secure yours as soon as possible.”
Wigan Warriors’ Marketing Director, Martin McLoughlin: “Friday’s game is shaping up to be a classic Good Friday derby clash. It’s a game that has everything, some of the Betfred Super League’s finest players, an almost perfect weather forecast, a Wigan team in need of huge home support and an in-form St Helens outfit with a large traveling faithful who will be sniffing blood. Atmosphere’s in these games are always special, and Friday seems to have all the ingredients for a derby day to remember.”
