  • Wigan face Warrington on Saturday at Anfield in the 2019 Dacia Magic Weekend, K.O. 7pm

Wigan Warriors Head Coach Adrian Lam has named the 19-man squad to face Warrington Wolves on Saturday at the Dacia Magic Weekend in Liverpool.

The two teams met just two weeks ago, with the Wire coming out on top in Round Six of the Coral Challenge Cup at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

However, they will meet on neutral ground this week at Anfield, as the home of Liverpool FC hosts the Dacia Magic Weekend for the first time.

Injury news

Hooker Sam Powell misses out this week due to a knock picked up in last weekend’s defeat to Catalans Dragons. Liam Marshall also misses out after picking up a shoulder injury in the same game.

Half-back Jarrod Sammut returns to the 19-man squad for the first time since picking up a knee injury against Castleford on 5th April. Jake Shorrocks also returns after missing last weekend’s trip to the Nou Camp with a shoulder injury.

Long-term absentees Liam Farrell, Dom Manfredi and Tom Davies remain on the comeback trail.
