Fixture: Tigers clash moved

Wigan Warriors’ round 29 Betfred Super League fixture at home to Castleford Tigers has been moved to Thursday 12th September, kick-off 7.45pm.

Wigan Warriors Marketing Director, Martin McLoughlin: “After the conclusion of Friday evening’s round 28 fixtures, Super League Europe communicated to us that Wigan’s clash against Castleford has been brought forward to Thursday evening for broadcast on SkySports.

“Those who have purchased a ticket for the game can be rest assured that their tickets will still be valid for the game. For anybody who has any further queries regarding tickets should contact the DW Stadium Ticket Office on 01942 311111.”

“Thursday’s game is a huge match, for Wigan and Castleford, and the whole of the Betfred Super League in what is shaping up to a drama filled round 29 at both ends of the table. We’ll be working closely with our colleagues at Castleford to look at ways of encouraging as many fans to come to the DW Stadium considering the short notice of this change.

“We thank fans for their continued support and understanding.”
