  • Thompson was the first signing that Wigan made ahead of their inaugural season in 2018.
  • She made 17 appearances in 2018, scoring 16 tries to see her take top try scorer for the season.
  • The centre made history by becoming the first Wigan player to score a hat-trick in a Grand Final as Wigan beat Leeds in 2018.
  • In 2019, Thompson made ten appearances, scoring seven tries and kicking two conversions.
  • Having represented England prior to the Women’s Super League, Thompson also represented England on their groundbreaking tour of Papua New Guinea in 2019.
